I just read a good but sad article from Rolling Stone on how artists are now making money in the music business. Sad part is there is only limited availability for established stars and almost no chance for upcoming artists to make money in most of these areas. There is however still hope for new artists to make money in the “new” music business. Check back for future posts for updates

It has been another hot week here in LA, its good to be home. ( I wonder if thie “Guitar Tornado” in picture was spawned by global warming?)
Some great projects in the works. Good stuff happening in Charlottesville VA with Rhyming Resources. Their first group of songs are just about ready for release, “Unforgettable learning through Music” is about to be a reality. New project from Jim Leslie and Jerry Sikorski is starting to take shape. Look for a new release from Jim and Jerry this winter. Have been spending time working on the new “Music for HOPE” chapter here in the “Valley” this week. Making some good progress recruting new volunteers here. Will be back in a few days with some updates, Stay cool out there. Later
Another marvelous Monday here in The Valley.
